Product Manager, Vehicle Aftermarket

The Product Manager position is responsible for the development and execution of product line strategies that bring value to the marketplace. This position will function as an expert in their product line for the organization. Product managers are responsible for pricing strategy, competitor strategies, vocational strategies, marketing activities and project management. They are accountable for growing their product line offering, and achieving sales, margin and market share goals.
+ Develop, execute, and track product line strategies that will drive the sales and marketing effort for assigned product lines
+ Update annually or as needed
+ Use tools to track and plan
+ Develop competitor and vocational strategies and operating plans
+ Execute product line initiatives to achieve sales and profit objectives
+ On-time and within budget to achieve desired results
+ Develop cost reduction initiatives to improve competitive positioning
+ Measure, develop, and recommend pricing and quote strategies to achieve overall product line profitability objectives. (Ensure all quote volume objectives are reviewed and recommend changes)
+ Measure effectiveness of initiatives to provide on-going research and analysis
+ Develop and demonstrate proficiency in systems available to measure results
+ Ability to proactively address changing conditions
+ Report findings to other department
+ Plan annual product line activities and manage to the defined launch calendar
+ Participate in PP and Strat Plan processes as required
+ Develop and implement annual pricing strategies for each product line to meet pricing targets while insuring market competitiveness
+ Provide regular analysis of each product lines? performance against PP goals
+ Use tracking templates to monitor programs and provide feedback to sales group; measurement should include by PSM, territory, and region against pre-defined targets for each group.
+ Measure effectiveness and recommend changes of product line strategies based upon identified strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats
Customer Satisfaction
+ Development of product line training programs
+ Maintain product line catalog information and cross references
+ Maintain customer contact to facilitate flow of market intelligence
+ Maintain product content updated on website
Education and Skills required to meet position qualifications:
+ Bachelor degree required, advanced degree preferred
+ 5 or more years of experience required with extensive responsibilities for marketing, product, program, project management,
Preferred/Additional Specialized Knowledge (not required to be qualified for position):
+ MBA Preferred
+ Truck Products Knowledge
+ Six Sigma Green Belt a plus
+ Trucking and Transportation Industry Experience
+ Strongly prefer experience in the markets, products, and customers of the Aftermarket Division
+ Proven business skills and interpersonal communication / influencing skills required
+ PC proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Power Point and Excel

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
