Senior Technical Project Leader

Your impact will happen in these and other ways: This product focused leadership position performs established technical tasks at the sub-system and/or component level for current and future products within a given business unit or corporate area. This involves work across many steps in the product life cycle. Because of the product centered nature of this position, they are very often a central point of coordination and decision making between product line engineers, customer teams, systems engineers, purchasing, suppliers and manufacturing. Obtains input from stakeholders such as technical managers, project leaders, other product and manufacturing engineers and supplier partners to deliver information and recommendations that lead to quality product decisions. Uses systems knowledge and expertise to make decisions in the areas of technology integration, design, analysis and experimental test verification and validation for both new and current products that impact product form, functionality and overall project risktrade-offs. Provides technical leadership for the business's most complex global technical challenges. Sets the direction for the development and improvement of work processes and systems across function(s) within a global business unit or across business units. Coordinates and directs the work of cross functional, often global project teams. Operates as the recognized specialist or expert in a discipline or product area across a global business unit with the responsibility of developing talent (direct or indirect) across the area of influence. Coaches and mentors the future technical leaders across a global business unit or corporate area May also include academic or industry leadership direction setting in a competency or discipline area. Qualifications System Requirements Engineering - Uses appropriate methods and tools to translate stakeholder needs into verifiable requirements to which designs are developed; establishes acceptance criteria for the system of interest through analysis, allocation and negotiation; tracks the status of requirements throughout the system lifecycle; assesses the impact of changes to system requirements on project scope, schedule, and resources; creates and maintains information linkages to related artifacts. Product Interface Management and Integration - Identifies and analyzes the interfaces and interactions across system boundaries by specifying the requirements and limits to ensure that the product meets requirements; controls the interactions across the system element boundaries by making sure that they remain within specified limits; integrates system elements by creating an integration plan, including identification of method and timing for each activity to make it easier to find, isolate, diagnose, and correct. Product Failure Mode Avoidance - Mitigates potential product failure modes, by identifying interfaces, functions, functional requirements, interactions, control factors, noise factors, and prioritized potential failure modes and potential failure causes for the system of interest to effectively and efficiently improve the reliability of Cummins' products. Product Problem Solving - Solves product problems using a process that protects the customer; determines the assignable cause; implements robust, data-based solutions; and identifies the systemic root causes and recommended actions to prevent problem reoccurrence. Experience Demonstrated leadership ability in a relevant Technical Advisor role through a range of varying business scenarios and/or life-cycles. Lead new product development including requirements management, project schedule, global technical team direction. Lead derivative platform design work including fit-for-market initiatives. Leverage parent Cummins and Eaton (China) technical organizations for collaboration and support. Develop JV functional technical capabilities in China. Project budget and resource planning, forecasting, and expense tracking Support develop and protection of IP Communication to technical management review group on project progress, barriers, support needed Flexible schedulerequired including frequent evening calls with China Travel up to 25% domestic and international required Education, Licenses, Certifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines is required Req ID: 19000011

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
